For part two of showcasing just how versatile this Tobi top can be, I styled my blouse for an edgy night out look that is perfect for date night.
One thing I love about Austin is that it is a pretty casual city-- because I'm a pretty casual girl-- but just because something is casual doesn't mean it can't be dressed up or look chic and put together.
For date night, I paired this top with my faux leather leggings from Nordstrom Rack. I got these around Christmas time two years ago, but have only worn them a few times because I never felt super comfortable or confident in them for various reasons. I also never really had a top or tunic that was long enough to wear with them that would still look flattering. When I found this top, I imagined it would look cute with these leggings, and I was right!
To my surprise, I actually felt very comfortable in this outfit thanks to this top. I felt edgy and chic, with just the right amount of dressy, and all of my "problem" areas were hidden. I topped off my look with this layered chain necklace from Chloe + Isabel, added the perfect pop of color and fun with my fave Beaded by W tassel earrings, and my go-to little black bucket bag and classic black heels.
I love how quickly and easily this look came together, with the help of just the right blouse. I felt so empowered taking an item from my closet that used to intimidate me and instead wearing it to make me feel sassy and ready to take on another day's (or should I say night's) adventures.
I hope y'all enjoyed this look!
